Most shooting enthusiasts have Argentina on their bucket-list … others travel there to shoot and hunt annually … The abundance of Dove triggered by the expansion of agriculture first put the province of Cordoba on the map for “high volume” dove shooting – meanwhile dove have spread out over all of central Argentina. Shooting in Argentina though offers much more than “only” dove shooting …
This time round we have the entire lodge reserved for a 4 - day shooting trip (3 full days shooting and ½ a day each on arrival and departure days) from May 10-14, 2025. Currently there are 4 - 5 pegs/rooms available – please let me know in case you would like to join. A program and the cost are attached (see below).
US and European participants usually fly-in overnight, get picked up in EZE upon arrival in the morning and taken to San Fernando airport for a charter (usually Cessna Caravan) to take them to the lodge. On the departure day after returning from the duck flighting the group gets flown back mid-day to San Fernando and taken to EZE for their return flights in the afternoon/evening or to their hotel in Bs.As.

BUENOS AIRES: At times guests also add a day or two in Buenos Aires – the Alvear Palace Hotel in the Recoleta being a typical and popular choice … … it is always fun to stay for a night or two upon arrival or departure and transfers will be arranged accordingly. Buenos Aires is such a wonderful metropolis and has a lot to see and explore.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday May10th, 2025 - Afternoon dove hunt.
- Air or land transfer from Buenos Aires to Los Ombues Lodge.
- Arrive at the lodge. Unpack.
- Enjoy superb delicious lunch.
- Afternoon: short walk or drive to go non-stop dove hunting on our private grounds.
- Cocktails, dinner and overnight in your comfortable room at the lodge.
Days 2 - 4 – Sunday May 11th to Tuesday May 13th – Three full days of Mixed Bag Hunting.
- After an early breakfast, leave the lodge at around 7:30am with your shooting assistant who will help you pick the best spots and blinds.
- You are shooting a mixed bag, so you will normally shoot
• ducks early in the day,
• perdiz normally follows a little later in the late-morning, and finally
• doves in the afternoon.
Day 5 – Wednesday May 14th - Transfer out
-Shoot ducks in the morning and perdiz in the mid-morning (time permitting).
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- Transfer back to Buenos Aires (international airport or hotel).
COST OF THE TRIP
-Double Room: U$D 1,950 per person per day.
-Single Room: U$D 2,200 per person per day.
-Non–Hunter: U$D 1,500 per person per day (double room).
INCLUDED: Lodging, full-board, all drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), hunting services, free use of the SPA (gym, sauna, Jacuzzi), laundry, Wi-Fi.
NOT INCLUDED: International and domestic airfares, air and/or ground transfers to and from the lodge, shells (U$D 18.- the box of 25), tips, hunting licenses (U$D150 per person for the whole trip), gun rental (U$D60 per person per day), gun permits, hotel and transfers in Buenos Aires (we can help you with any of these arrangements).
