Finca Pascualete, Extremadura, Spain

Driven Redlegged Partridge

Finca Pascualete has belonged to the same family since 1232 and is located in Extremadura’s Dehesa, famous for driven partridge shooting. The estate spans over 5,000 hectares, just 2.5 hours from Madrid Airport or 1 hour from Badajoz Airport, featuring wild, hilly terrain with gorges and dense vegetation ideal for partridge.

The estate is run by the Count of Quintanilla, with a strong focus on conservation and sustainability. It also operates cattle and Iberian pig farming, cheese production, and food harvesting across the estate. Over 80 years, it has developed a reputation for excellence in both sport and land stewardship.

The team will also receive you at the airport and help you pass customs with your firearms. Hunters will be provided with chauffeured jeeps to get to the partridge drives, these are no more than thirty minutes by car from the residence. The Palacio offers a total of nine unique double suites, each with their own bathroom, some including their own sitting room. There are four salons, including a game room, television, and wi-fi. An ample team of experienced staff in the Palacio will make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

Food is central to the experience. A private chef prepares seasonal menus using local produce, estate-raised meats, and fresh fish. During shoots, tapas are served, while lunches take place in two charming shooting houses with wood ovens, featuring dishes like roast lamb, suckling pig, or wild turbot paired with fine wines.

Recognized as one of Spain’s top private partridge shoots, Pascualete offers 20 drives, allowing up to 3 consecutive days without repeating drives. Groups range from 4 to 10 guns, with 4–6 drives per day and a minimum bag of 600 partridges. The estate’s varied landscape presents birds at different heights, suitable for all shooting skill levels.

The administrative team handles all details: gun licenses, insurance, travel arrangements (including private helicopter or coach), and customs clearance for firearms. Shooters use chauffeured jeeps to reach drives, all within 30 minutes of the residence.

The estate is renowned for its award-winning sheep’s milk cheeses, crafted using traditional methods from its own flock, adding to the authentic Extremadura experience.
